Island Walks

As people who love exploring the countryside on foot as well as by any other means, we love lacing up the hiking boots and heading off into the great outdoors.

Real Tenerife's Guide to the Best Places for walking/hiking on Tenerife.

After years of walking all over Tenerife and struggling with directions that were too vague, out of date, too technical or simply too dull, we decided at Real Tenerife to create our own series of walking guides for Tenerife and compliment them with this blog.

As well as simple, but detailed directions for the main route, route guides include suggested detours, refreshment stops, toilets, historical and cultural information, weather conditions, flora, tips about walking in that particular area, photographs and how to get there by public transport.
